Problems with Online Payment Systems
Many people agree that online payment systems make life more simple and easy. Just about everyone with a computer or cell phone has been involved in an online transaction using an online payment system. Even though online payment systems have made shopping more accessible, there are concerns and problems associated with online payment systems today. For example, just recently Paypal released an ad that points out the security issues with Apple Pay. Paypal claims that Apple Pay will have security issues because of the fact that iCloud was hacked into earlier this month and private photos of celebrities were leaked onto the internet. Because Apple's iCloud security is under distress, people will be more hesitant to trust and interact with Apple Pay.

so true, i find more things online than in the store and you can buy from other world (countries), too.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with the fact that people will be more hesitant to trust and interact with Apple pay, but not even just Apple pay any online transaction at that. I know personally my mom hates when I make online transactions because she thinks that someone is going to hack into my account. If people can get into celebrities iCloud accounts, they for sure can get access to regular peoples accounts as well. We all just have to be super careful and cautious when it comes to online transactions.

ReplyDeleteI also agree that customers will be hesitant after something happened. I myself do not like shopping online just because of having to put my card information online. I have had someone recently hack into my account from my computer crashing and they got onto all of my online banking accounts. I would much rather shop in stores knowing my money is safe although online shopping is much easier.
ReplyDeleteAs long as the security breach was not your fault, there is no reason to worry about online payments. If somehow you lost any money, it will always be returned.
